Following the introduction of new EU VAT rules in June, we are taking measures to ensure any burden of import duty to you is minimised. We hope this will help maintain the smooth passage of orders, however please be aware you may still be liable to payment of a fee.
Due to the current international situation we are unable to process orders to Russia.
For customs purposes Portuguese, Russian and Brazilian customs require the submission of an addressee specific identification number(personal tax number) when Russian/Brazilian/Portuguese individuals or organisations import goods from overseas. This is a 10 or 12 digit tax code for shipments into Russia , to Brazil the persons CPF in the format: 000.000.000-00 and Portugal the addressee's NIF number (000 000 000)

3D Secure™ (3DS) is a secure online payment service available for Visa and MasterCard payments. The authentication procedure is simple and involves 3 steps. - Place your order and enter your debit or credit card information as usual. Your bank will then ask you to verify your identity by entering an authentication code which they will send to you as an SMS(text) message.
Work has now completed on integrating 3DS into the payment process. However please contact us for help if you experience any difficulties.

We remain open for UK and International Mail Order. The majority of services are running normally and we continue with despatches throughout the week. Overseas customers are advised to check the current Royal Mail International Incident Bulletin for latest information on their destination country.
Most UK areas are running a regular service but periodically some may be affected by disruptions and delays due to staff shortages resulting in a small number of deliveries taking longer than the usual 1-3 days norm although the situation is widely variable across the UK . Generally the situation is near to normal, but we do appreciate your patience and understanding in awaiting deliveries.
From 14 September 2019, in response to a change in European law an extra layer of authentication may be requested before online payment can be authorised. This will usually take the form of a one-time code which will be sent via SMS text to your mobile phone.
The new system is called Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), and will randomly apply whenever you make a purchase from all retailers, including Guitarnotes. This applies only to customers within Europe.
