Full Description
Rafael CATALA
Spanish Guitar Music from the Generation of 1927
The generation of Spanish composers after Manuel de Falla, included most famously Antonio Jose and of course Joaquin Rodrigo. However, recent interest in and performances of music by other Spanish composers from these early decades of the 20th Century has increased, showing that a substantial body of composers were writing innovative and creative music for the guitar. This new collection brings together for the first time some major works of this period in newly engraved and edited editions.
