Below is listed a
selection of our classical guitars. As true specialists we stock a select
number of makers 'specialising' in these rather than 'generalising' in
lots, this allows us to offer the best service for our customers.
We have been personally commissioning
and importing instruments since 1969. These are available to
purchase on-line, all personal sales being by
appointment. Payment is by the usual means to UK customers,
although for reasons of security, we would ask all overseas customers to
send payment by banker's draft after obtaining a delivery inclusive
quotation.
Unlike elsewhere, all of our instruments are stored in ideal conditions of
temperature, light and humidity to maintain their peak condition. All
guitars are new and not pre-owned. Furthermore, these instruments are
available for immediate despatch as we are not third party selling agents
for private or commercial suppliers. We cherish all our instruments
equally. Moreover our ethos isn't sales driven, so we don't offer price
reductions or have permanent or seasonal sales offers. What we do offer is
an honest, knowledgeable service for customers seeking quality at a
realistic price.The guitars of
Luis Romero feature prominently in our range. Over
the years, we have found these to be the most reliable and consistent
guitars(regardless of origin) available. The care taken by Luis Romero in
their set-up is second to none. This means customers can share in the
confidence we have acquired in this luthier's guitars in the knowledge
that they are purchasing a guitar of quality that will give very many
years of pleasure. After an absence
of 23 years, the guitars of Alhambra made a welcome return to the Guitar
Centre in 2006. In close collaboration with their luthiers, we have commissioned a
striking range of models exclusive to Guitarnotes under the Maestro Series
label. Taking the standard models as a starting point, only the best
materials for each guitar have been selected for their construction,
closely supervised by their master luthiers, and then finished with the
utmost care. Before receiving the Maestro Series designation, every guitar
is tested and approved before shipment. In this way, we are ensuring our
customers are receiving the very best work, from one of the most advanced
luthier's workshops in Spain. Although these guitar take longer to make
than the regular stock, the results are a simply stunning. |
