Mist Over the Lake
Mist Over the Lake was written in 1985 as part of the "Forest Pictures" suite for Violin & Piano. "Mist" is a musical reflection of a real and fantastic natural scene the composer had ventured upon. He recalls that he wrote the piece quickly for fear of losing that inspiring but disappearing image. It was first performed in Odessa at the Stolyarsky Music School in 1985.
